Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate hip hop dance techniques, choreography, and musical rhythm to suit various skill levels. Lead energetic dance classes, ensuring students learn proper form, technique, and stage presence while maintaining a fun and motivating atmosphere. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful environment conducive to learning and artistic exploration. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, age groups, and experience levels. Collaborate with other arts educators to integrate dance with visual arts, theater, or music components when applicable. Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and encourage continuous improvement. Organize performances or showcases that allow students to demonstrate their skills confidently in front of an audience. Requirements Proven experience in teaching hip hop dance or related styles such as street dance or urban choreography. Strong knowledge of choreography creation and dance instruction techniques. Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in educational or community settings. Ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to various skill levels and age groups. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Background in performing arts education, including theater or music performance, is highly desirable. Familiarity with musical instruments or rhythm training can enhance teaching effectiveness. Prior experience in youth programs or preschool education is a plus.
