Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse | Cocoa, Florida Part-Time / Contract The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse is seeking skilled and dependable Rehearsal Accompanists for upcoming Broadway on Brevard productions. Responsibilities Accompany music, staging, and production rehearsals. Play from musical theatre piano/conductor scores. Follow cuts, vamps, tempo changes, and other adjustments during rehearsal. Work collaboratively with Music Directors, Directors, Choreographers, and performers. Arrive prepared, punctual, and ready to adapt in a fast-paced rehearsal environment. Qualifications Strong piano and sight-reading skills. Comfortable accompanying singers and reading musical theatre scores. Dependable, flexible, and collaborative. Previous theatre or vocal accompaniment experience preferred. Schedule & Compensation Rehearsals are primarily held evenings and weekends. Accompanists may be hired for individual productions, auditions, callbacks, or other musical needs throughout the season. This is a paid position , with compensation based on the needs and schedule of each production.
