Duties Lead praise and worship sessions during church services, ensuring a seamless flow of musical worship that aligns with the spiritual message. Select appropriate praise and worship music that enhances the worship experience and resonates with the congregation's spiritual journey. Conduct rehearsals with church choir members and musical teams to prepare for weekly services and special events. Manage musical productions for various church events, including seasonal celebrations, outreach programs, and special services. Provide vocal training, mentoring, and leadership development for choir members and volunteers to foster growth in musical skills and spiritual confidence. Oversee the use of musical instruments such as piano, keyboard, drums, guitars, and other instruments to support live worship performances. Collaborate with church leadership to integrate music seamlessly into service planning while maintaining high standards of musical liturgical knowledge. Experience Proven experience leading praise and worship music in a church or faith-based organization setting. Strong knowledge of musical liturgy, religious music selection, reading sheet music, and vocal music techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage musical teams, coordinate rehearsals, and direct church choirs effectively. Experience conducting church service musical performances using various instruments including piano or keyboard. Background in teaching vocal training or mentoring musicians within a nonprofit faith-based organization is highly desirable. Familiarity with managing musical productions for large gatherings or special events while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills to inspire team members and engage the congregation through lively worship leadership.
