Pauls Episcopal Church, Newburyport Mass Description:
Soprano section leader for a weing choir and church. Must be able to work kindly with volunteer choir members.$100 a call, two calls a week. This position goes from September 10th to December 27th with a potential to renew through May 2027. Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 6:30-8pm Sunday morning at 9am for a 10am service. Occasional Evensongs, Lessons and Carols and Concerts.
Qualifications:
Excellent sight reading, an ability to blend with the choir, a familiarity with well known solo soprano sacred repertoire is needed as occasionally we will add a solo. A good sense of humor is needed. A straighter tone is needed or the ability to sing in the center of notes.
