Position:
Piano Accompanist Schedule:
3 hours/day, 4 days/week, 38 weeks/year, not to exceed 15 hours/week
Essential Job Functions:
Provide piano accompaniment for choir classes. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance
Qualifications:
Proficiency in playing piano & accompanying choirs. Able to run sectionals when needed. Willing to work as a team to support a well-knit district fine arts staff. Able to develop and maintain constructive relationships with students, staff and parents. Able to assume responsibility with a minimum of direct supervision. Ability to work in an economically, culturally and racially diverse environment.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust/focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate.
