We are a gospel-centered, diverse church. We are a place where anyone is welcome to experience and share in the love of Christ. We want everyone to know Christ and become more like Him! We sing a mix of gospel, modern, and classical hymns, contemporary songs with rich theological content, and traditional hymns. Our congregation loves to sing songs by Fred Hammond, Walter Hawkins, Chris Tomlin, Sovereign Grace Music, Kevin Twit, Matt Redman, Keith & Kristyn Getty, etc. Learn more about us at . Scope We seek a talented and passionate Tenor Lead Vocalist to join our vibrant Christ United Fellowship (CUF) worship team. As Tenor Lead Vocalist, you will play a crucial role in leading our congregation in worship through inspiring, heartfelt music. You will collaborate closely with our worship leaders and musicians to create an atmosphere of worship that uplifts, inspires, and connects our community with God. You must agree to our staff lifestyle agreement. Song Selection and Planning—10% Actively contribute to the creative process of worship planning Offer ideas for song selections, arrangements, and worship elements that align with each service's theme and message. Song Leading—60% Lead and participate in weekly worship services, including rehearsals and sound checks. Sing lead vocals during worship songs, ensuring clarity, pitch accuracy, and emotional connection. Collaborate with worship leaders and musicians to select appropriate songs and arrangements that align with each service's theme and message. Rehearsals—20% Attend regular meetings and rehearsals with the worship team to prepare and review upcoming services. Collaborate with musicians and vocalists to refine arrangements and harmonies. Meetings - 10% Meet with the congregation's Director of Music, Musicians, and Volunteers. Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and values of Christ United Fellowship. Agreement with our Statement of Faith and CUF Staff Lifestyle Agreement . Strong, versatile tenor vocal ability with lead singing experience (church setting preferred). Ability to confidently lead congregational singing with emotional connection and vocal excellence. Familiarity with a range of worship styles, including gospel, modern hymns, and contemporary worship songs. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Reliable, punctual, and prepared for rehearsals and services.
