Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support patient care in a dynamic hospital inpatient pharmacy setting located in Richland Center, WI. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to expand your clinical skills in a fast-paced environment supporting critical medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
Restock Pyxis automated dispensing systems efficiently to ensure timely medication availability Conduct outdate checks and maintain accurate inventory levels Restock medication, IV solutions, and medical supplies essential for inpatient care Enter charges accurately and promptly for billing and inventory tracking Order, receive, and manage incoming drug shipments to maintain stock integrity Monitor refrigerator and storage temperatures to comply with safety standards Prepare sterile products and chemotherapy solutions following aseptic technique Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of cleanroom and sterile compounding areas Other duties assigned to support pharmacy operations and patient safetySchedule:
Monday toFriday:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (8 or 10-hour shifts available)Weekends:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM on every 4th weekend rotationQualifications and Experience:
Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license, or ability to obtain promptly Approximately 2 years of current inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience Strong knowledge of sterile compounding, chemotherapy prep, and hospital pharmacy workflow Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards and protocols This assignment is available immediately, providing a rewarding opportunity to contribute to inpatient medication management in a collaborative team environment. to advance your career as a hospital pharmacy technician and support quality patient care.
