Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an engaging full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year as a Physical Therapist, working exclusively onsite with a wide-ranging K-12 student caseload. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding environment to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites. You will collaborate with educators and families to support student success district-wide, taking on a caseload of approximately 25-30 students. Your expertise will aid students in reaching their fullest potential by assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans. The role involves working hands-on with children of varying abilities, engaging in direct therapy, and participating in IEP meetings as an active team member. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll have a consistent routine that allows for comprehensive student engagement and professional growth.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active Washington PT license (or willingness to obtain prior to start date) Fingerprinting through OSPI (or readiness to complete process) Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload across multiple locations Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Genuine commitment to the development and well-being of childrenKey Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized intervention plans for students Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with educational teams Document progress, maintain compliance, and write detailed reports as required Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, supporting students' goals and progress Provide education and resources for staff and families as needed This position is onsite only—candidates seeking virtual roles, please note this is in-person only.
