Physician Assistant - Plastic Surgery Froedtert South Medical Group Froedtert South Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant work with our Plastic Surgeon Brian Hill, M.D. The Physician Assistant will have assignments in the following areas: inpatient rounds, outpatient visits, and surgical first assistant. The successful candidate will be trained on the multiple in-office aesthetic services including, CoolSculpting, Cool Tone, skincare products, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, laser facial resurfacing, IPL treatments, laser vein treatments, and filler and Botox injections. The position includes varied hours including early morning, late evenings, and weekends. The position will have a minimum of 80 scheduled office/rounding hours in any two-week period. The position will also require on-call responsibilities. The Physician Assistant will direct patient care in the hospital and clinic setting, handle all aspects of treatment plans, review and evaluate test results, complete medical documentation, and complete patient follow-up calls under the supervision of a physician.

Education:

Master's in Physician Assistant Studies or related field

Training:

Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)

Certification:

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

License :

Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the

State of Wisconsin Experience :

The preferred candidate will have a basic knowledge of wound care, peri-operative management of patients, aesthetics, suturing techniques, as well as basic surgical skills is a benefit. However, we are open to considering new graduates.
