Pop-Up Driver

The Market at Swayzee (Swayzee Loinz production facility) is hiring pop-up drivers! We are looking for a pop-up driver to join our team with an exciting opportunity in the food production industry! If you are a person of high character, thoroughly competent, punctual, get along with everyone, operate at a fast pace, we would like to meet with you! The Pop-Up Van Driver departs from our facility daily in our Squeals on Wheels van, selling frozen tenderloins at our pre-designated pop-up locations across the state of Indiana. Most days you will have 2 locations to stop at. Job Skill Requirements

• Guest Service:

  A friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service will help get repeat customers by building trust in the brand.
• Clean driving record required.

• Communication:

  Ability to practice open communication, and cooperation.
• Ability to utilize basic technology such as a tablet, credit card machine and social media sites.
• Basic mathematic skills are required, as you will be totaling sales each day and making change for cash paying customers.

Teamwork:

Pop-Up Drivers are part of a team. You will be working mostly on your own during your shifts, so independence is a must. However, you will also need to coordinate and communicate well with other production crew members, supervisors and office staff. Being a team player is essential for success.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to drive long distances (2-3 hours at a time to some destinations). Ability to drive in the dark occasionally. Bends, reaches and stoops Lift / carry 10 lbs. or less constantly; Lift / carry 11-20 lbs. frequently; Lift / carry 21-50 lbs. occasionally. We also ask that you take pride in your appearance when representing our company.
