JOB SUMMARY A
Porter's basic function usually involves maintaining cleanliness, appearance, and safety standards of facility.
Pay:
$19.24 an hour- approx. $40,000 annually.
FLSA:
Non-exempt. Eligible for overtime.
Schedule:
4pm-12am Sunday - Thursday(Friday and Saturday off).
Schedule:
12am-8am Sunday- Thursday (Friday and Saturday off).
Schedule:
12am-8am Tuesday- Saturday(Sunday and Monday off).
Location:
Eastchester neighborhood Bronx, NY
JOB-RELATED DUT IES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
These duties are essential and specific to the successful implementation of this position. Perform basic maintenance tasks each workday including: Trash removal Front lobby and facility support Sweeping, cleaning and mopping rooms and areas as needed. Follow all maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor. What do I need to apply?
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Some experience (1+ years) cleaning and sanitizing a residential or similar site preferred.
Certificates :
F-02 or F80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification, required (or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire)
Communication:
Proficiency in English required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Reasoning Ability:
make judgment calls, perform proper notifications, and make appropriate decisions.
Physical :
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50lbs), tour entire property, walk distances, and climb stairs (2-4 flights).
