- Provide visionary leadership to create a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, integrating inquiry-based instructional strategies and 21st-century learning skill development.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to support the school's mission and goals to support students in developing skills to be adaptive to change and resilient to challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school climate that demonstrates a universal design for learning that promotes student engagement, equity, and diversity.
- Lead curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment strategies to meet the needs of all students, with a focus on integrating inquiry-based approaches and fostering the development of 21st-century skills.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff effectiveness in inquiry-based instruction and 21st-century skill development.
- Conduct regular evaluations and performance assessments to ensure accountability and to promote the growth of all staff and students.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and community members to support student success.

- Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; perform a variety of specialized and responsible tasks; maintain records; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, other school personnel; meet and schedule deadlines; adhere to and follow school district policies and procedures.
