Night shift We can support relo/TN Visa if needed Night Shift schedule (Five 8-hour shifts (Wednesday-Sunday), 5:00 PM-1:00 AM. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Schedule subject to change Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Automation Technician to join our team in Burlington, WA. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production operations, machine uptime, and high product quality in a high-tech, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Audit equipment to capture process recipes and control parameters daily. Monitor production and ensure process integrity is upheld. Perform process optimization and troubleshooting in collaboration with the Quality Team. Conduct routine and periodic checks on machinery and recipes. Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) to detect deviations and implement OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans). Maintain and clean equipment as per standard operating instructions. Document processes and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs). Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects using VSM, A3, PK, and Apollo methods. Troubleshoot technical issues, recommend process improvements, and perform root cause analysis. Ensure operational safety of all equipment and assist in improving safety features.Requirements Education & Experience:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a STEM or technical field (e.g., Microelectronics, Electronic/Computer Engineering Technology), or currently pursuing one. Technical training (electronics or mechanical) with at least 6 months of hands-on experience.Preferred:
2+ years of experience in semi/fully automated manufacturing environments.Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, pneumatic systems, VFDs, electrical wiring, vision systems, and chemical processes. Familiarity with SPC, DOE, and standard troubleshooting methodologies.Soft Skills & Traits:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Collaborative team player with high attention to detail. Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and initiative. Willingness to work rotating shifts if required. Able to manage small projects independently.
