Project Superintendent / Field Project Manager - Landscape Restoration, Tree Removal & TESC Lumank Inc SeaTac, WA Job Details Full-time | Contract $75 - $125 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Project reporting Construction project reporting Construction subcontractor management Blueprint specification interpretation Operations management Outdoor work First aid OSHA 30 Schedule management First Aid Certification Construction team management Construction workplace safety regulations Project stakeholder communication Full Job Description About the Role Lumank Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent / Field Project Manager to lead field execution for a public works landscape restoration and vegetation management project in the SeaTac area. This role is ideal for someone with strong field experience in landscape restoration, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, TESC / erosion control, public works, and subcontractor coordination . The selected candidate will represent Lumank in the field, coordinate daily work with subcontractors, communicate with the owner/engineer, maintain schedule, document progress, and help ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contract requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage daily field operations for tree removal, invasive vegetation removal, planting, restoration, fencing, TESC, and related site work. Coordinate tree-removal, landscape, trucking/disposal, and erosion-control subcontractors. Maintain daily reports, field photos, manpower/equipment logs, and quantity tracking. Prepare and maintain short-term lookahead schedules. Coordinate with the owner, inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and Lumank management. Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and work limits before field execution. Confirm that only approved trees/vegetation are removed. Protect existing trees, wetlands, buffers, utilities, park features, hardscape, fences, and surrounding improvements. Monitor subcontractor performance, safety, quality, cleanup, and schedule. Support RFIs, change-order documentation, pay applications, and closeout records. Coordinate
TESC / CESCL
requirements, BMP maintenance, stormwater controls, and environmental compliance. Help enforce prevailing wage, certified payroll, safety, and public works documentation requirements. Required Experience 5+ years of field supervision or field project management experience. Experience with at least one of the following: Landscape restoration Tree removal / arborist coordination Clearing and grubbing Invasive vegetation removal Environmental restoration Civil/sitework Public works construction Ability to manage subcontractors and field crews. Ability to read plans, specifications, and work limits. Strong communication skills with owners, inspectors, and subcontractors.
Strong documentation habits:
daily reports, photos, logs, quantities, and issue tracking. Knowledge of jobsite safety requirements. Ability to work in active public or restricted-access environments. Preferred Qualifications ISA Certified Arborist experience or ability to coordinate arborist subcontractors. OSHA 30 preferred. First Aid / CPR preferred. Experience with Port of Seattle, airport, municipal, WSDOT, or other public agency projects preferred. Experience with Washington prevailing wage and certified payroll preferred. Experience working around wetlands, buffers, parks, public facilities, or environmentally sensitive sites preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is field-focused, practical, organized, and comfortable leading subcontractors. We need someone who can walk the site, understand the work, catch problems early, communicate clearly, and protect the company from avoidable schedule, safety, quality, and change-order risks. This is not only a paperwork role. We need someone who can manage the project in the field and keep the team moving every day. Applicants should also provide three similar projects they have personally managed or supervised , preferably involving public works, landscape restoration, tree removal, clearing/grubbing, TESC, erosion control, environmental restoration, civil/sitework, or work in active public facilities.
