We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team at Wire Cut Company, Inc. We are an EDM shop supporting several industries, such as aerospace and defense, in metal parts manufacturing. In this vital role, you will ensure that all parts meet rigorous quality standards by performing precise inspections, analyzing data, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will help uphold our reputation for delivering high-quality, precise, and consistent manufacturing to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the integrity of our quality systems. Duties Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming parts, in-process components, and finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, comparators, profilometers, and related tools. Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications Interpret blueprints using GD&T knowledge, extracting the correct information to perform part inspection Perform visual inspections to detect surface defects, inconsistencies, or damages that could render parts scrapped Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, inspection results, and process deviations for reporting and trend analysis. Provide completed inspection forms, maintain job and traveler paperwork, and perform first article inspections (FAI) on production work. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as

ISO 9001

(quality management systems) Conduct internal quality audits to verify adherence to established procedures and identify areas for improvement Support manufacturing teams by providing feedback on quality issues, minimizing scrap rate, and collaborating on corrective actions Skills A Machinist's background is preferred Strong knowledge of quality control processes within manufacturing environments Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges Experience with calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment CMM Operation Familiarity with quality management standards such as

ISO 9001
