Job Description
Job description We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a background in industrial electrical work, preferred but not required. This is a versatile role where the inspector will rotate through Incoming (IQC), In-Process (PQC), and Final (FQC) inspection stations to ensure all products meet mechanical and electrical safety standards. Key Responsibilities Final Inspection (FQC): Conduct 100% final checks on finished goods, including bolt/screw tightness, external cosmetic reviews, functionality, and internal component verification. In-Process Audits (PQC): Monitor the assembly line to catch errors in real-time. Verify that electrical wiring and mechanical assembly follow the approved SOPs. Incoming Validation (IQC): Inspect raw materials and electrical components from vendors to ensure they meet technical specifications before being released to production.
Technical Verification:
Use commercial electrical knowledge to identify missing markings, loose connections, or improper cable routing that could lead to electrical failure.Documentation:
Maintain digital and physical logs of all "Non-Conforming Material Reports" (NCMR).Preferred Experience:
Commercial Electrical Direct Experience:
Candidates with experience as an electrical apprentice, helper, or industrial wireman are highly preferred.Electrical Aptitude:
Ability to identify wire gauges, terminal types, and understand basic circuit continuity.Schematic Literacy:
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.General Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Mechanical Skill:
Expert-level familiarity with hand tools and torque-measuring equipment. Attention toDetail:
Ability to spot "Missing Markings"—ensuring every bolt has been QC-marked for tightness.Reliability:
This is an hourly, shift-based position requiring consistent attendance and occasional overtime.Safety & Physical Requirements Standards:
Strict adherence to PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toes, ESD gear).Lifting:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Environment:
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with constant movement.
