Job Description

Rad Tech Lead Critical Access Ridgeview Medical Center United States, Minnesota, Arlington 601 West Chandler Street (Show on map) May 19, 2026 Purpose of Job This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures. Job Functions Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients. Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams. Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order. Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained. Performs intravenous access technique as needed. Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients. Performs other duties as assigned. When Functioning as a
Lead:
Serves as a resource and provides technical guidance to staff technologist. Assists with team communication, staffing/scheduling, time and attendance and performance management. Trains and mentors new and current staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Critical Access Hospital Imaging Lead Dual Functions:
Supply materials ordering RAH and RLSH Dimensions Timecard review for all CAH Imaging Staff Insurance Prior Authorization review and coordination Equipment PM and Service review and management X-ray MDH/DNV quality performance review Data management Communication to all levels of management and staff On-site visits to Arlington and Le Sueur ACR and MDH review documentation Radiation Safety Committee attendance Minimum Education/Work Experience Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
LEAD:
Current Ridgeview Radiology Technologist 3+ years of Radiology experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray and CT scans Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications Ability to respond to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations Ability to work autonomously and as a team Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability and knowledge to complete job functions as all Ridgeview Imaging locations Displays a higher level of problem solving, conflict management and communication skills License/Certifications Registered by the AART CPR Certified Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
