RCFE Administrator

Overview Join our dedicated team as an RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) Administrator and lead the charge in providing exceptional senior care within a vibrant, community-focused environment. As an RCFE Administrator, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with state regulations, and foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff alike. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for seniors with diverse needs, including those requiring memory care or specialized dementia support. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs, including Alzheimer's care and other memory care services. Supervise caregiving staff, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a team-oriented culture focused on compassionate resident care. Oversee medication administration procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices for resident safety. Coordinate with healthcare professionals such as nurses and social workers to optimize resident health outcomes and facilitate smooth communication across care teams. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident records, incident reports, care plans, and regulatory compliance audits. Lead community outreach efforts to enhance resident engagement and build strong relationships with families and local organizations. Skills Extensive experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes with a strong understanding of senior care operations. Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Deep knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care best practices. Familiarity with home & community care models and long-term care regulations across state lines. Strong financial acumen for budgeting, resource allocation, and operational management within healthcare settings. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with residents' families, healthcare providers, and staff members. Ability to manage medication administration protocols safely while ensuring compliance with all legal standards. Requirements :

High School diploma or equivalent required Maintain a current RCFE Administrator Certificate in the state of CA Valid Background Check Clearance (Live Scan) Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Current CPR and First Aid Certification Professional references to verify character and experience Physical clearance (Statement of good health) TB test or chest x-ray (within 6 months)
