Job Description

Join the Sunset/Ocean Park Healthcare Center Team! We Are Hiring a Receptionist! Sunset and Ocean Park Healthcare Centers are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents and their families. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our facility and help create a welcoming, professional environment for all who enter. The position of Receptionist reports to the Activities Director.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
JOB DUTIES
Greet and assist visitors, residents, and family members in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately Maintain front desk operations and ensure the reception area remains clean and organized Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Assist with visitor sign-in procedures and maintain accurate logs Provide general administrative and clerical support to multiple departments Support communication between departments as needed

Respond to general inquiries and provide basic facility information Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments or meetings as needed Monitor lobby activity to ensure safety and security Support Activities Department with administrative tasks as assigned Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment Must be dependable, punctual, and consistent with attendance — this role is critical to daily operations and requires strong reliability
