REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST WANTED

CORE COMPETENCIES
Dental Hygiene Degree License to practice hygiene and deliver local anesthetic in
Oregon Dental Practice:
1 year preferred CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (Current) Prior knowledge of Oryx software is a plus, but not required, as we will provide training. Mastery in Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planing, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Sealants. Conducting periodontal screenings Capturing and analyzing x-rays to detect indications of dental issues Establishing rapport with patients and ensuring their comfort throughout the dental visit Great at educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, including effective brushing, flossing, and nutrition for maintaining excellent oral health
BASICS:
(These come easily without thinking) A willingness to be flexible and accommodating for patients A willingness to pitch in and help each other on the team Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail Consistent in cleanliness, timeliness, and service
OUR THERAPY DOG
​Zephyr is our therapy dog and a true gentleman. We want to make sure that you are comfortable being around therapy dogs, as our workplace has a program that utilizes them for therapeutic purposes.

WORK SCHEDULE
Part or Full-time:
(2-4) 10-hour shifts per week Weekly schedule: Tuesday
  • Friday, 7:00 am
  • 5:00 pm Schedule is flexible
  • we're open to discussing full-time or part-time arrangements with the right candidate.
PAY:
Range:
