Qualifications & Essential Experience:
Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing Proven experience delivering high-quality respiratory therapy in a hospital or clinical environment Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proficient in administering various respiratory modalities and managing ventilator-dependent patients Professional communication skills with a collaborative, patient-centered approach Ability to adapt quickly to shifting patient and facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures as ordered by physicians Assess, monitor, and document patients' respiratory status and treatment responses Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, including troubleshooting and weaning protocols Deliver airway management support, including administering treatments and conducting patient/family education Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Participate in rapid response and emergency interventions as needed This contract position offers the opportunity to further develop your skills, contribute to outstanding patient care, and work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
