Compass Hotel Flagler Beach is hiring for dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to overlook Salty Rim and Chill Bar outlets in hotel. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant activities, ensuring smooth shift operations and excellent customer service. Lead, motivate, and train staff members to uphold service standards, food quality, and safety protocols. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and adherence to health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform cash handling duties. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and conduct regular staff training on hygiene practices. Assist in managing restaurant budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency. Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members. Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Coordinate with kitchen management to oversee food production, catering events, and special functions like banquets. Requirements Proven supervising experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Background in hospitality management or restaurant management; experience in fine dining or casual dining is preferred. Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively. Excellent communication skills for staff training, team management, and customer interactions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel food service is advantageous. Certification in food safety practices; hospitality or culinary training is a plus.
