Job Description

Job Requirements Starting Pay Range:
$20.00
  • $22.
00 hourly A Retail Facilities Technician ensures the store runs smoothly by handling electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and lighting repairs. You'll perform inspections, fix issues quickly, and keep everything in top shape to create a safe, functional environment for both customers and staff.

Commercial Facilities Technician:
Performing daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work orders for SavOn and Marina locations, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Performing preventative maintenance on self-contained refrigeration units and food service equipment such as fryers, warmers and pizza ovens. Participating in remodeling projects which may require light carpentry, pressure washing, assembly of store fixtures, painting, minor electrical, and finish restoration.

Work Experience To be successful as a Commercial Facilities Technician, you'll need: High school diploma or GED. Three to five years' experience in a similar maintenance position preferred. Knowledge of basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light carpentry and construction. Valid NYS Driver's License required. The ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
