20 Job Highlights Part time role at 20 hours per week Competitive pay range of $59.73 - $89.59 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Provide patient-centered pharmacy care in a community retail setting Support medication dispensing, prescription review, patient education, and pharmacy operations About this role Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as a Retail Pharmacist at our New Hillsboro Retail Pharmacy, where you will play an important role in helping patients access safe, effective, and compassionate medication care. In this position, you will work as part of a collaborative team serving a rural community that values personal connection, trust, and high-quality care. Your work will support our mission of empathy amplified by ensuring patients receive the right medications, clear guidance, and attentive service close to home. Key responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate control over medication dispensing and pharmacy inventory Interpret, clarify, and evaluate medication orders for appropriateness Provide care across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and elderly patients Use pharmacy computer systems effectively to support safe and efficient workflow Educate patients, staff, and others on medications and pharmacy-related topics Help oversee daily pharmacy operations with professionalism and efficiency Collaborate with healthcare providers and committees to support cost-effective, high-quality medication therapy What you will need Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy Valid pharmacist license to practice in the State of Wisconsin Immunization certification through an accredited organization or school of pharmacy, required for outpatient pharmacy settings Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification with hands-on learning, required for outpatient pharmacy settings Strong communication, clinical judgment, and attention to detail Ability to work effectively with technicians, ancillary staff, and other healthcare professionals What we offer Part time position at 20 hours per week Competitive hourly compensation based on years of experience and qualifications Opportunity to serve patients in a community-focused rural pharmacy setting A collaborative workplace that supports professional growth and patient-centered care Our culture & values At Emplify Health by Gundersen, we live our mission of empathy amplified through belonging, respect, excellence, accountability, teamwork, and humility.
