Retail Team Member

Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated, reliable person to fill a part-time position as a budtender at our dispensary. While cannabis experience and knowledge are not required, they are a plus. Prior customer service experience is required, however. This job will be for a budtender/reception hybrid position. Duties Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support throughout their shopping experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays to ensure an organized store environment. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with inquiries related to pricing and promotions. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services offered in the store. Exhibit problem solving skills, and an ability to take constructive criticism. Experience A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required. Previous experience in retail sales or a dispensary environment is preferred. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and effective stocking practices is advantageous. Strong basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and retail transactions. Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
