RN - Treatment/Wound Care Nurse - Arrington Living Center - Full Time

The Treatment Nurse provides nursing care to the residents as prescribed by the physician, and in accordance with established facility protocol, local, state and federal regulations. Treatment Nurses are an essential part of the treatment of burn or wounded residents. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducts resident rounds as assigned to assess the skin condition of each resident and reports problems to the Charge Nurse and takes necessary follow-up action. Administers treatments and medications according to the physician's orders and accurately records treatments and medications administered Documents resident care provided and resident's response or lack of response to treatment or medication provided. Assesses each resident's skin condition weekly, and as necessary, including stage, size, sites, depth, color, drainage and odor of each condition.

Licensure requirements:

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed and in good standing with the Mississippi Board of Nursing. Experience Required.
