  • Oakland HQ The opportunity Every day, homeowners raise their hand to learn about Honey Homes, and our SDR team gets their free walk-thru on the calendar.
That's where you come in: you own everything that happens next, turning booked walk-thrus into new members. You'll work over phone, text, and email: pre-qualifying and confirming booked walk-thrus, nurturing the not-quite-ready, and re-engaging leads who have gone quiet. Following the walk-thru, you'll act as a trusted guide—understanding what matters most to the homeowner, recommending the right package, addressing concerns honestly, and confidently asking for the close. You own the critical bottom of the funnel—turning homeowner interest and a great walk-thru experience into new members and lasting revenue. A walk-thru is the first in-home appointment where a prospective member meets one of our specialists to review their home, discuss projects and maintenance needs, and learn how Honey Homes works. Walk-thrus that happen, and convert to members, are how this role wins. About Honey Homes Honey Homes eliminates the hassle of home upkeep, replacing it with comfort and joy. Our 3,500+ members (homeowners) are each paired with a dedicated handyperson who manages everyday repairs, maintenance, and home improvements throughout the year. All of our handypeople are full-time employees, hired for their technical expertise, service mindset, and integrity. Because the same professional cares for your home consistently, members experience something rare in home services: reliability, trust, and consistently high-quality care. Behind the scenes, our AI-powered systems help our team operate thoughtfully and efficiently at scale, giving our people better tools to deliver an exceptional homeowner experience. We're backed by Khosla Ventures, Era Ventures, Pear.vc, and the co-founders of DoorDash, Lyft, and Opendoor. We're redefining modern homeownership, and we're just getting started. What you'll do Pre-qualify and confirm every booked walk-thru so specialists meet informed, ready homeowners Ask smart, empathetic questions to understand each homeowner's needs, assess fit, and set expectations Protect show rates: confirm, remind, and save appointments before they cancel Keep every record clean in HubSpot so the whole team can trust the funnel Follow up after completed walk-thrus to answer questions, handle objections, recommend the right package, and close Nurture the not-quite-ready and re-engage aged, stalled, or ghosted leads Partner daily with SDRs and Walk-Thru Specialists on handoffs, debriefs, and stuck deals Identify patterns in homeowner objections, lead quality, and lost deals, and turn those insights into improvements across Marketing, SDR, and Walk-Thru operations Use AI tools and automation to move faster, personalize follow-up, and help make our playbook better Flex onto inbound calls and fresh leads when volume spikes. Our SDR team owns first touch, but speed to lead is a team sport here Why this role is unique A high-intent, warm pipeline. Marketing and our SDR team generate demand and book walk-thrus, so you can focus most of your energy on qualification, conversion, and follow-through. When the business needs it, though, everyone jumps in—including on fresh inbound leads. You're the closer. This is the revenue seat on the inside team, with commission tied directly to the new members and revenue you bring in. Technology that makes you better. Automated queues, intelligent follow-up, and AI-assisted tools help you respond faster, stay organized, and spend more time building trust with homeowners. You'll use these tools daily and help us improve them. Uncapped earnings and real career upside. Top performers earn above OTE and can grow into senior roles as we scale. What we're looking for You can sell. 2+ years of sales experience in a high-velocity environment, ideally closing over the phone. SaaS, home services, real estate, or membership businesses are a plus. You're fast. Same-day follow-through is instinct for you, not a policy you comply with. You're a strong communicator. You build trust quickly over phone and text, understand what matters to the homeowner, and are comfortable recommending the right package and confidently asking for the close. You run a tight pipeline. Organized and self-accountable. Follow-ups happen when you said they would, and your CRM reflects reality. HubSpot experience is a plus. You're resilient. You handle no's well and keep your energy through long follow-up cycles. You use technology as leverage. You're comfortable using AI and automation to prepare faster, personalize follow-up, and keep opportunities moving—without losing the human touch. You act like an owner. You don't wait for the perfect script, lead routing rule, or automated workflow. You spot what's slowing down conversion, take action, share what you're learning, and help fix the system—not just work within it. What success looks like in 90 days You're consistently meeting or approaching ramped show-rate, conversion, and new-revenue targets You deeply understand our homeowners, packages, most common objections, and strongest conversion signals Specialists walk into homes where homeowners are informed, qualified, and prepared for the visit Every viable opportunity has a clear next step, and no lead quietly falls through the cracks Your HubSpot pipeline accurately reflects reality and supports reliable forecasting You've improved at least one meaningful part of our qualification, follow-up, or closing playbook based on patterns from your first 100+ conversations Compensation and benefits On-target earnings: $120,000 per year ($70,000 base plus uncapped commission on new revenue) 100% covered medical, dental, and vision for employees 401(k), FSA, paid parental leave, and paid time off A few things to know This is a full-time, in-office role at our Oakland HQ.
