PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN AN INDUSTRIAL TRADE OUTSIDE SALES ROLE IS REQUIRED. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CENTRAL TIMEZONE CANDIDATES WITH PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION SALES RESPONSIBILITIES. THIS POSITION MAY BE PERFORMED REMOTELY BUT WILL REQUIRE EXTENSIVE TRAVEL ACROSS THE UNITED STATES TO VISIT AND SUPPORT CUSTOMERS, GROW THE BUSINESS, AND DEVELOP SALES LEADS. WHO WE ARE EPC

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Account Executive reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and is responsible for networking, generating sales leads, building relationships with prospective clients and potential clients, and promoting the EPC brand and image in all aspects of their work.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Work independently to identify new sales leads. Network and build relationships with current and potential customers. Work closely with the senior sales leadership to execute the organization's sales and marketing strategy. Connect with customer leads through cold calling and website contacts. Manage and grow existing accounts and relationships. Review and adhere to sales timelines, metrics, key performance indicators, all established in partnership with senior organizational leaders. Stay current and up to date on industry trends and product knowledge. Work closely with internal leaders to ensure smooth transitions between sales leads and customer setup. Supply organization leaders with reports and information on customer needs, obstacles, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and/or services. Push continuous improvement through the sales function via processes improvement, technology, and communication efforts. Work independently of leadership and constant guidance to manage your own schedule, timeline, customer visits, tradeshow events, industry events, and other initiatives as needed.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or related field is highly preferred. At least 5 years of prior experience related to inside or outside sales is required. Strong network in the Telecommunications construction industry, preferably OSP. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong analytical skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to focus on details while still operating within tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Ability to quickly adapt to new technology to streamline work and processes. Ability to work independently and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Some office work may be required for reporting and administrative purposes. May be required to stand, sit, bend, twist, and reach as part of the job. Extended periods of standing on your feet may be required. May be required to lift up to 80 pounds. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, or other job-related pre-hire screenings related to the job. Must have valid, unrestricted driver's license. This position may require up to 75% travel at times based on the seasonality of the industry, trade show events/seasons, customer needs, and business needs. Travel may be via plane or automobile during the week or weekend.
