This role will be cross-trained across key office functions (order processing, customer service, logistics coordination, and QC/documentation touchpoints) to build a full understanding of how customer accounts move through the business, with a primary focus on day-to-day account management support. Key Responsibilities Account Management Support Assist the Account Manager with day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts Prepare account materials, reports, and presentations (pricing sheets, sales summaries, new item introductions) Respond to routine customer inquiries and escalate issues appropriately Track order status, deliveries, and follow up on customer requests Help maintain account files, contracts, pricing agreements, and customer specifications Support new item setup and onboarding processes with customers Cross-Functional Training / Office Process Flow Learn and understand the full order-to-delivery process (order entry, production scheduling, logistics/shipping) Gain working knowledge of QC/documentation requirements as they relate to customer specs and compliance Cross-train with office admin, logistics, and planning teams to understand how each function supports account management Build familiarity with internal systems (ERP, CRM, or order management software) General Support Assist with meeting prep, notes, and follow-up action items for account reviews Maintain organized, up-to-date account documentation Support special projects as assigned by the Account Manager Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Communications, or related field), or equivalent experience 1-2 years in an office, customer service, or account support role (food/CPG manufacturing experience a plus) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace; ERP/CRM experience a plus Detail-oriented with a proactive, learning-focused mindset Comfortable working cross-functionally across departments
