This position supports Romer Labs, (a division of dsm-firmenich), a global leader in innovative diagnostic solutions for food and feed safety. Key Responsibilities:
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their needs and introducing relevant product solutions
  • Learn to identify sales opportunities by supporting market and customer analysis efforts
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, follow‑ups, and consistent customer engagement
  • Conduct outbound calls and nurture leads to support sales goals and repeat business
  • Use Salesforce to track activities, manage customer information, and support a structured sales process
  • Participate in sales planning, training, and product education to continuously build your skills and industry knowledge

You Bring:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (post‑secondary education or sales training is a plus, but not required)
  • 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, retail sales, or a related commercial role
  • Comfort using everyday business tools like Microsoft Office, with exposure to CRM systems (Salesforce or SAP a plus)
  • A desire to learn how to sell technical or solution‑based products, even if you're still building that experience
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage customers by phone and email
  • Curiosity, resilience, and motivation to learn the full sales process from lead engagement to long‑term relationships The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position.
Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $56,000
  • 70,000. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
