About us: We are a well established, top rated, holistic practice with focus on wellness, rehabilitation and preventative medicine. Our team consists of physicians, therapists and administrators that provide Chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, nutritional counseling, and functional medicine without the use of drugs or invasive procedures.
Patient Accounts Specialist Summary of Position:
Upbeat individual will oversee the accounts receivable from patients and insurance companies while maintaining a positive patient experience and assist in the day-to-day schedules and revenue stream management of a growing practice. Responsibilities include managing patient treatment schedules, coordinating flow of office, billing and collections, creating new patient leads into booked appointments, health insurance benefits verification, creating and sending letters and statements, calling patients and carriers, working rejected claims, recovering and reconciling past due accounts, conducting pre-authorizations, managing work flow for personal injury cases. This position requires someone who has very high communicational and organizational skills, can multitask, and work autonomously. Individual will interface with our clinic director on a daily basis and work as a team to accomplish tasks and manage workflow. Looking for individual who is motivated to help our office expand; opportunity for professional advancement as practice continues to develop.Additional job duties:
- Answering phones and patient scheduling
- Management of data systems and patient files
- Management and training for other administrators
- Data entry- patient info, explanation of benefits data, claims info, tracking practice stats
Job Requirements:
- Previous chiropractic/medical experience a plus
- Very strong on the phones, able navigate difficult conversations with ease
- Must be proficient with basic use of Microsoft office including Excel, Word
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and sense of professionalism
- Willingness to assume new responsibilities
- Must be efficient and have the ability to learn new tasks quickly
- Must be proactive with strong ability to self manage and prioritize tasks
- Reliable transportation
