Job Description
Account Services Specialist We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and dependable individual to join our insurance agency as an Account Services Specialist . This position will work closely with two of our agents to provide day-to-day client and administrative support while helping ensure that important account details, follow-ups, renewals, and outstanding items are handled accurately and timely. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership and pride in their work . We are looking for a person who does not simply complete a task and move on, but understands what needs to happen next, follows through, keeps things organized, and takes responsibility for seeing a task through to completion This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, eager to learn, and interested in developing a long-term career within the insurance industry. Prior insurance experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings the right attitude, work ethic, communication skills, and desire to grow. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day account and administrative support to two insurance agents Communicate with clients by phone and email regarding policy needs, requests, documents, and follow-ups Track policy renewals and proactively follow up with clients to ensure necessary information and paperwork are received Request, organize, and follow up on applications, signatures, documents, and other outstanding items Follow up with clients regarding insurance inspections, required repairs, photos, documentation, and other outstanding requirements Maintain accurate and organized client and policy records Monitor outstanding tasks and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Keep agents informed of outstanding issues, client responses, and items requiring their attention Learn and effectively utilize agency management systems and Microsoft Office products Look for ways to improve organization, efficiency, and client service What We're Looking For The right person will: Be extremely organized and detail-oriented Take ownership and personal responsibility for their work Be self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision Have excellent phone, email, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrate outstanding professional and customer-service etiquette Be dependable, punctual, and consistent Be a quick learner who is comfortable learning new software and processes Be familiar with Microsoft Office products Have a positive, team-oriented attitude Be comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, and communicating when an issue needs additional attention Have a genuine desire to learn, grow personally and professionally, and become a valuable part of the agency What We Value We are a small agency, and because of that, every person on our team matters. Pay:
