Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tenant Account Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of the resident experience by ensuring account accuracy, supporting lease administration, processing move-outs, coordinating security deposit refunds, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the resident lifecycle. Maintain and update resident account information and records. Process resident account adjustments and maintain organized resident files. Assist residents with setting up recurring payments and process payments received by phone. Answer resident questions regarding account balances, payment history, and account activity. Coordinate resident move-outs and prepare security deposit refunds and disposition statements. Review move-out charges for accuracy and communicate with former residents regarding final account balances. Assist with lease renewal preparation and processing. Process reasonable accommodation and reasonable modification requests in accordance with Fair Housing laws. Maintain confidential resident records and documentation. Partner with community management teams to support resident account needs. Assist with reporting, special projects, and other administrative duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. Previous experience in property management, leasing, customer service, or an administrative role preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
