Job Functions:
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, courteous attitude. Assist customers, as necessary, with banking business (ex: order new checks, replace lost debit cards, transfer money, research transaction errors, counsel clients on the use of online banking or bill pay, advise clients on budgeting and balancing their accounts, etc.) Assist with transaction, customer, and account service as needed. Serve as a specialist for all deposit products. Stay up to date on the Bank policies, procedures, and operational functions to ensure good customer service and careful handling of the bank business, resources, and systems. Be mindful of concerns and compliance issues to ensure proper handling of each situation. Listen to inquiries, assist, when possible, route situations to other staff members appropriately, including internal referrals for accounts, investments, loans, credit, treasury management, etc. Report any customer service issues or other problems or concerns to appropriate management. Initiate and follow up on problem resolution for clients. Ensure that customers receive competent, thorough assistance. Explain situations helpfully and avoid blind transfers to unavailable or incorrect staff. Ability to work scheduled and other needed hours at the designated location(s) All employees should provide consistently positive, effective, helpful service to all customers, both internal and external. Management or Bank policy may revise, delete, or add responsibility as necessary.
Ability to:
operate office equipment, telephones, and computers communicate fluently in English, in person, in writing, and on the computer hear, speak, and understand verbal communication read, write, count, and perform basic math functions move head, shoulders, neck, and arms freely (ex: operation of office equipment) use manual dexterity and fine manipulation for operating a keyboard, using equipment, filing, etc. lift up to 15 pounds, grasp, reach, and pull think, remember, learn new information, and apply cognitive data to job functions assess and concentrate on mental and physical job tasks to see them to completion drive oneself independently for travel between locations present information to groups in an understandable format or fashion
Qualification Requirements:
Associate's degree or equivalent customer service experience 2-5 years of banking and/or relevant marketing/ sales, customer service experience Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Polished, professional presentation with a positive attitude, outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills Marketing and public relations knowledge and skills / sales experience Analytical, written, verbal presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to work with only minimal supervision
