Job Description

Position Summary The Marketing & Sales Assistant supports the Commercial Sales and Marketing team by coordinating marketing initiatives, trade shows, promotional campaigns, customer events, and sales support activities. This role is responsible for maintaining brand consistency, developing marketing materials, managing digital marketing efforts, and assisting with projects that drive customer engagement and sales growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and assist with customer visits, sales meetings, and company events, both on-site and off-site, including sponsorships, meeting space, customer appreciation events, catering, and event logistics. Plan, coordinate, and oversee trade shows, including registration, booth setup, scheduling, payments, and post-show follow-up. Track trade show leads and ensures timely delivery of requested literature, samples, and marketing materials while measuring event effectiveness. Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including line cards, sales brochures, product literature, presentations, and promotional materials. Maintain and update the company website and social media platforms. Create, manage, and execute the company's social media content calendar. Ensure company-wide compliance with brand standards and proper logo usage. Maintain marketing calendars and track projects to ensure timely execution of campaigns and initiatives. Administer and process co-op marketing funds for qualifying customers. Coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate quarterly marketing promotions. Visit participating customers to explain promotional campaigns, review marketing materials, and support successful program execution. Train and educate the Sales and Customer Service teams on promotional programs to ensure accurate communication with customers and installers. Maintain inventory and organization of marketing materials, including brochures, product literature, promotional giveaways, labels, and sales collateral. Partner with and provide support to the Commercial Sales Assistant on daily activities and special projects. Provide administrative and project support to the Vice President of Commercial Sales as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in marketing, event coordination, promotions, or market development. Working knowledge of the sales process and customer relationship management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, and standard business software. Ability to create reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with managers, customers, sales staff, and the public. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team. Willingness to travel up to 20%, including occasional overnight travel. Graphic design experience is preferred. Preferred Skills Knowledge of marketing principles and promotional strategies. Experience with social media marketing and content management. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines. High level of professionalism, initiative, and adaptability. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
