The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of IT for Education's marketing initiatives and sales pipeline. This position works closely with the Marketing Manager, sales team, and leadership to coordinate marketing campaigns, maintain marketing content and materials, organize events, manage CRM information, and support lead generation activities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, creative, and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining clear and professional communication. The role supports marketing efforts across email, social media, digital content, events, direct mail, and other campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and create new business opportunities within the K 12 education market.
Key Results:
Ensure marketing campaigns, projects, and deliverables are coordinated and completed according to established timelines and company standards. Maintain accurate and organized CRM records for marketing leads, campaigns, and related activities. Support consistent lead generation through marketing campaigns, events, email, social media, and content initiatives. Ensure marketing materials and communications remain consistent with IT for Education's brand, mission, and messaging. Maintain an organized and current marketing content calendar. Ensure leads generated through marketing activities are properly documented and routed to the sales team for follow-up. Provide accurate monthly and quarterly marketing performance information to support evaluation of campaign effectiveness. Support successful execution of webinars, Lunch & Learn events, conferences, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns across email, social media, webinars, events, direct mail, and content initiatives. Coordinate campaign timelines, marketing assets, deadlines, and deliverables. Draft, schedule, and publish content across social media, email, and the company website. Assist with the creation of blogs, newsletters, one-pagers, and other educational marketing content. Manage the day-to-day social media presence, content calendar, and community engagement. Build and deploy email marketing campaigns and nurture sequences. Support website updates and basic SEO activities. Coordinate event logistics, including registrations, materials, booth assets, presentations, and marketing collateral. Support on-site execution, lead capture, and post-event follow-up for company events. Attend Technology Marketing Toolkit and other applicable peer group events in person as required. Maintain brand consistency across marketing communications and materials. Produce, organize, and maintain current marketing and sales collateral. Maintain accurate CRM data and marketing records. Ensure leads are properly documented and routed to the sales team. Provide the sales team with campaign leads, marketing materials, and consistent messaging. Track marketing performance metrics and assist with monthly and quarterly marketing reports. Assist with identifying opportunities to improve campaign performance and marketing effectiveness. Abilities Required:

Familiarity with design and content-creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Working knowledge of digital marketing channels and basic SEO. Experience in education technology, managed services, or B2B marketing. Understanding of the K-12 education landscape or E-Rate / EdTech funding programs. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Organization & Execution — manages tasks, timelines, and deliverables reliably and independently. Communication — writes clearly and collaborates effectively across teams. Attention to Detail — keeps content, data, and coordination consistently accurate. Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 1-3 years of marketing, communications, or related experience (relevant internships considered). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for a professional education audience. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Hands-on experience with social media platforms and at least one email marketing tool (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot). Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.

Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
