Business Development Manager•Tsunami FLSA Status:
Exempt Salary Level:
$90,000- $115,000 per year + bonus program up to 40% Reports to: National Sales Manager At Suburban Manufacturing, we don't just make fluid power products, we redefine what performance looks like.

As the Tsunami Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of expanding our footprint, identifying untapped opportunities, breaking into new markets, and building lasting partnerships with OEMs, distributors, and industry leaders. What You'll Do Own your territory- Build and execute a strategic sales plan that drives real growth Hunt for new business
- Identify and win high-impact opportunities in competitive markets Sell solutions, not products
- Partner with engineering to deliver tailored, high-value solutions Build powerful relationships
- Become a trusted partner to OEMs, distributors, and key stakeholders Lead with insight
- Bring market intelligence and customer feedback that shapes strategy Collaborate to win
- Work cross-functionally to turn ideas into measurable results Make your mark
- Expand brand presence and influence across the industry What Makes You a Great Fit You thrive in fast-moving, competitive environments You're confident navigating complex, technical sales cycles You know how to open doors, create opportunities, and close deals You bring energy, curiosity, and a "let's figure it out" mindset You balance independence with strong collaboration What You Bring 3+ years of experience in sales or business development within industrial manufacturing Strong communication and presentation skills Proven ability to build relationships and grow accounts Experience managing a pipeline and forecasting in a CRM A competitive drive with a team-first mentality
Preferred:
