Job Summary Lanoha Nurseries is searching for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Professional to use their skills to manage an established division in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position will be responsible for selling new accounts, managing accounts and for establishing the implementation of a management structure relative to the day-to-day responsibilities within the division. This position will also be responsible for training and overseeing all staff activates including: mowing, turf fertilization, turf chemical applications, general plant maintenance, pruning, irrigation maintenance, and snow removal. Duties Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance crews across multiple projects, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Manage daily operations related to lawn care, grounds maintenance, irrigation systems, and hardscape installations on construction projects. Develop and implement landscape maintenance plans that include plant care, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and irrigation management. Foster strong relationships with clients by providing expert advice on plant identification, horticulture practices, and landscape improvements. Lead sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and presenting tailored landscape solutions to clients. Ensure team members receive proper training in crew management, irrigation techniques, tree care, gardening practices, and equipment operation. Monitor project progress and quality control to ensure timely completion within budget parameters while maintaining high standards of outdoor aesthetics. Skills Extensive knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance procedures, and hardscape installation methods. Proven supervising experience with team management capabilities in outdoor environments. Strong understanding of plant identification, horticulture principles, tree care practices, and irrigation systems management. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently; experience with irrigation systems is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Effective communication skills for client interactions and internal team coordination. Familiarity with construction projects involving landscape installation or renovation work. Competence in managing company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety policies.
