Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across designated regions. In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth by developing strategic relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers. Your energetic approach and exceptional communication skills will help expand our market presence, maximize revenue opportunities, and elevate our hotel's reputation within the competitive hospitality industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence sales strategies, foster lasting partnerships, and contribute to the overall success of our hotel portfolio in the Youngstown, Canton and Solon area. Duties Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, warm calling, and targeted marketing initiatives. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company goals while meeting client needs effectively. Develop comprehensive sales plans tailored to regional market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences. Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that promote hotel services and special offers. Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage accounts, and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement. Lead regional sales meetings, provide coaching to team members, and foster a high-energy sales culture focused on achieving targets. Requirements Proven experience in B2B sales within the hospitality or related sectors, with a strong emphasis on business development and account management. Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences. Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics for strategic planning. Familiarity with sales technology platforms such as Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Experience in technical or technology sales is a plus, especially when selling integrated hotel solutions or digital services. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach to warm calling, prospecting, and developing new client relationships in competitive markets.
