Our systems are designed to safely lift trucks, buses, fire and rescue equipment, military vehicles, and other heavy-duty applications for efficient service, component removal and installation, and specialty builds. In addition to vehicle lifts, ARI-Hetra offers a comprehensive range of wheel-service equipment, including alignment systems, tire changers, wheel balancers, and brake lathes, as well as shop equipment such as support stands, waste-oil drains, and floor jacks. ARI-Hetra also provides a comprehensive vehicle exhaust product portfolio. Position Summary ARI-Hetra is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts throughout an assigned geographic territory. This is a field-based sales role for a proven relationship builder who enjoys being in front of customers, developing new business, and managing a territory with a high degree of independence. The ideal candidate will reside in Northern Ohio, preferably in or near the Cleveland area , and be comfortable traveling regularly throughout the territory. Key Responsibilities Develop and strengthen relationships with existing ARI-Hetra customers to drive repeat business and long-term account growth. Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers throughout the assigned territory. Develop business across target markets including transit authorities, municipalities, Departments of Transportation, military organizations, fire and rescue departments, waste-management companies, dealerships, fleet operations, and other heavy-duty vehicle service organizations. Build and maintain an active pipeline of accounts, opportunities, leads, and quotes within the company CRM. Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales forecasts. Achieve or exceed assigned revenue goals, sales targets, and key performance indicators. Maintain consistent face-to-face customer engagement through regular account visits, prospect meetings, and B2B sales calls. Conduct in-field product demonstrations, equipment presentations, installations, setup support, and customer training as needed. Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate ARI-Hetra products and solutions. Assist with site evaluations, equipment specifications, project requirements, and information gathering for large accounts and competitive bids. Monitor regional market conditions, customer trends, competitive activity, and emerging sales opportunities. Represent ARI-Hetra at regional and industry trade shows, conferences, customer events, and demonstrations. Participate in pricing discussions and provide business justification for selective discounting when necessary to secure strategic opportunities. Participate in weekly sales and information-sharing meetings to improve communication, customer service, forecasting, and visibility throughout the sales cycle. Collaborate closely with internal sales, operations, customer service, technical, and support teams to ensure a strong customer experience from initial contact through installation and ongoing account support. Qualifications Previous B2B outside sales, territory sales, account management, or business development experience. Demonstrated ability to develop new business while managing and growing existing customer relationships. Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to independently manage a geographic territory and maintain an active sales pipeline. Comfortable selling technical, industrial, automotive, fleet, capital equipment, or related products and solutions. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process. Experience using CRM software to manage leads, accounts, opportunities, quotes, and sales activity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers ranging from technicians and shop managers to purchasing departments, fleet executives, municipal officials, and senior decision-makers. Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling heavy-duty vehicle equipment, automotive equipment, capital equipment, industrial products, fleet solutions, or related technical products. Experience selling to municipalities, transit authorities, government agencies, fleets, dealerships, fire and rescue organizations, or military customers. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance facilities, fleet operations, heavy-duty repair environments, or shop equipment. Compensation Competitive base salary of $65,000-$75,000 annually , based on experience.
