The ideal candidate will welcome guests, process orders and payments accurately, operate the POS system, answer menu questions, and support smooth front-of-house operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Provide guests with receipts and confirm order details Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options Communicate special requests and order information to the kitchen team Check orders for accuracy before handing them to guests Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier and counter area Restock menus, packaging, napkins, condiments, and other front-of-house supplies Assist with takeout and pickup orders when required Respond to guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner Follow restaurant cash-handling, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist team members during busy service periods Support opening, closing, and daily restaurant duties Perform additional responsibilities assigned by restaurant management Requirements Previous cashier, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food-service experience is preferred but not required Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and order accuracy Ability to follow instructions and restaurant procedures Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling options On-the-job training Supportive and team-oriented work environment Employee meal or discount opportunities may be available Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Benefits may vary based on position, location, employment status, and eligibility.
