Responsibilities Operate cash registers efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions and handling cash, credit, or digital payments with precision. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed. Manage the cash drawer responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing registers at the end of each shift. Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains tidy, appealing, and well-merchandised. Assist with product knowledge sharing and merchandising efforts to educate customers about featured items. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely. Support supervising team members during busy periods by offering guidance on POS operations and customer interactions. Qualifications Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems or cashier operations is highly preferred. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment is a plus. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations and cash register operations. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory stocking procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette. Experience in upselling, product demos, and promoting sales initiatives is advantageous. Familiarity with cash drawer handling, retail sales transactions, and cashiering best practices.
