Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to enhance store presentation. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products to customers. Conduct product demonstrations when necessary to inform customers about new items or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area and throughout the store. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support during busy periods. Utilize basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math calculations. Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
