Job description: Florentin Bakery is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering great customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for handling transactions accurately, assisting guests with their orders, and creating a positive, efficient experience for every customer. All team members will begin by training and working at our Hollywood location to learn our systems, service style, and standards before transitioning to the new store.

Duties:

Greet guests, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service Accurately handle POS transactions and cash/credit payments Assist guests with menu selections and answer questions about products Package bakery items, pastries, and to-go orders with care and accuracy Keep the counter and display cases clean, organized, and fully stocked Restock products and supplies throughout the shift Communicate and work closely with kitchen and team members to ensure order accuracy Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed Follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards

Requirements:

Previous cashier or customer service experience required (2+ year in a café, bakery, or restaurant environment) Strong customer service skills and friendly attitude Ability to multitask and stay efficient during busy hours Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset Ability to stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays) Must be legally authorized to work in the USA Bilingual is a plus

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
