Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional customer service and answering product questions Manage cash handling duties with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end Assist with product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to highlight fresh produce and farm products Support inventory management by stocking shelves and recording product levels regularly Use effective phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries from customers or vendors Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and sales calculations Experience with POS systems and retail math to ensure accurate transactions Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Supervising experience is advantageous for assisting in team coordination during busy hours Ability to perform light physical tasks such as stocking shelves and maintaining displays Join us as a Farm Cashier and become an integral part of our farm community!
