Job Description
Banner Ford of Monroe is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Service Cashier to join our team and help provide an excellent customer experience. In this role, you will be one of the final points of contact for customers completing service repairs or purchasing parts. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, comfortable handling payments, and committed to treating every customer with courtesy and respect. Schedule Weekday hours from 2 pm to 6 pm and every other Saturday. Key Responsibilities Greet service and parts customers in a friendly, professional manner. Receive and process customer payments by cash, check, credit card, or other approved payment methods. Review repair orders, parts invoices, and counter tickets for accuracy before closing transactions. Issue receipts, make accurate change, and process approved refunds or credits as directed. Balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions according to dealership procedures. Communicate with service advisors, parts associates, accounting, and management to resolve payment or invoice questions. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier work area. Support a positive customer experience by handling concerns calmly and escalating issues when appropriate. Qualifications Previous cashier experience in a dealership setting is preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle money accurately and maintain attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
