Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing products, and ensuring merchandise is neat and accessible Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling and transactions Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and assist with locating items on the sales floor Upsell products and promote current promotions or product demos to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain proper merchandising standards by arranging displays attractively and ensuring signage is clear Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks and communicate replenishment needs to management Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling product demos Support cashiering duties by processing returns, exchanges, and handling cash or card payments with accuracy Assist in training new team members on POS systems, customer service protocols, and store policies Ensure a safe shopping environment by adhering to store safety procedures and maintaining cleanliness Experience Prior experience in retail sales or grocery stores is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
