Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Stocker, Must be 21, where you'll be the friendly face that greets customers and the reliable team member who ensures our shelves are stocked and organized. This energetic role combines customer service excellence with efficient stocking and merchandising, creating a seamless shopping experience for all. You'll play a vital part in driving sales, maintaining store presentation, and providing top-notch support to our valued customers. Whether handling transactions or restocking products, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver an outstanding retail environment. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and returns Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits of merchandise Maintain a well-stocked sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are properly merchandised Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment, stock counts, and organizing backstock areas Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including balancing cash drawers at shift end Use effective communication skills to upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone (phone etiquette) Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Basic math skills for handling transactions, making change, and managing retail math calculations Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising standards, and inventory procedures Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
