We're looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Cashier to join our team and help provide excellent service to every customer. Position Summary As a Part-Time Cashier, you'll be one of the first and last points of contact for our customers. You'll operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, answer customer questions, and help maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful service. Accurately process cash, credit/debit, and other forms of payment. Operate the point-of-sale system and complete transactions efficiently. Handle returns, exchanges, and customer questions according to company policies. Maintain an organized, clean checkout area. Assist customers with locating products and directing them to the appropriate department when needed. Balance attention to detail with a positive and welcoming attitude. Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and loss prevention. Work cooperatively with other team members to create a positive customer experience. Perform additional store-support duties as needed. Qualifications Previous cashier, retail, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately. Dependable and punctual. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Comfortable standing and moving throughout the store for extended periods.
