Job Title:

Head Cashier - Swift Elementary (24.5 hours/week)

Job Purpose:

To perform accurately meal count accountability per the NJ USDA regulations with accurate daily deposits and day end reporting.

Qualifications-Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent Displays a positive, courteous attitude towards all students Exhibits a helpful, positive, and friendly attitude towards all associates Is clean, well groomed, and wears the proper attire at all times as per district uniform policy Ability to speak and understand English Excellent attendance and work ethic Able to pass the Criminal History Review Ability to pass the Sexual Misconduct Child Abuse Disclosure Ability to

Pass Pre-Employment Physical Exam Qualifications-Desired:

2-3 years of experience as a cafeteria worker/ cashier 2-3 years of experience working in a school setting

Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensures students and customers are moving at a steady pace Ensures that the state of New Jersey Department of Child Nutrition guidelines are met when claiming meals Performs daily deposits and day end reporting Assists in all other cafeteria duties as needed
